A famous person-- -- Richard Hammond
Hammond was born in Birmingham, the grandson of workers in the automobile industry.
Radio and television career
Early in his career, Hammond worked at many radio stations, including Radio York, Radio Cumbria, Radio Leeds, and Radio Lancashire,[2] before going on to present a number of daytime lifestyle shows and motoring programmes on Men & Motors.
Brainiac: Science Abuse
In 2003, Hammond became the first presenter of Brainiac: Science Abuse; he was joined by Jon Tickle with Charlotte Hudson joining in series 2. After the fourth series it was announced that Richard Hammond was no longer going to present the show due to his signing an exclusive deal with the BBC. Vic Reeves took his place as main presenter.[4]
brainiac
Series 1 featured a wide variety of experiments including testing to see whether a mobile phone would ignite petrol vapors, walking on custard and testing the effects of electric shocks on various Brainiacs.
Series 2 saw the start of "Brainiac Snooker", in which World Snooker professional Quinten Hann would pot the last six balls on a table into the pocket causing the caravan rigged with a different explosive to explode.
Series 3 featured Brainiac Golf (much like Brainiac Snooker, only this time with different salts to colour the explosions).
Series 4 introduced Brainiac Darts, where Bobby George threw a perfect set, always finishing on the Double Top which triggered the explosion of a caravan, and a new "I Can Do Science Me" which is set around auditions. It also introduced a new feature called "Brainiac for a Day" where contestants could bring an item of their choice to blow up.
Series 5 Vic Reeves took over as host from Richard Hammond. This was announced before Hammond's car accident in September 2006.
My comment: I hope for Brainiac documentaries to be filmed on Arts central!

Do Not Tease Animals
One fine day, Johnny X was walking on his way to school. He had to pass through a garden in order to reach his destination. In the garden, he saw a dog stationary near a lamp post.
He saw the dog taking a rest at a nearby lamp post. He took a stone that was brown in colour to throw on the dog. The dog barked. It started to become ferocious. He took no notice of the dog barking and fell on deaf ears.
He thought that it was fun to tease the dog. He continued to walk to school. Fortunately, a few good Samaritans saw him and reported that cruel incident to his school principal.
Johnny X had an hour-long lecture with the school principal. He entered the principal’s office with mixed feelings.
On the next day, he went on stage to receive a “special” prize. The principal caned him very severely. He received five strokes. The principal’s face turned as red as an apple.
Johnny X’s face turned as white as a sheet. His legs felt like jelly and his heart beat like a Chinese drum. He only cried for twenty seconds! Fresh tears dropped from his eyes.

Eggs and farm animals
I love to eat eggs. Eggs are my favourite. There are duck eggs, quail eggs, chicken eggs, fish eggs, crab eggs and century’s eggs. Many mammals except platypus and spiny anteater give birth to their young. Eggs are a source of protein. Good eggs sink in water but rotten eggs float on water. This is due to the density of egg. Birds and fishes lay eggs. Farm animals and eggs are found in the farm.
